winter has splintered! i couldn't think of anything else that rhymed with winter. linter? renter? denter? yah, i got nothin.
anyway, the rain is falling, the wind is howling and my closet has officially transitioned. yay! it's time to bust out my trusty winter boots, wooly scarves and toasty sweaters. more is more this fall and i'm layering in bold colors and rich textures. i've been playing around with jumbo scarves (read: neck braces) and chunky blazers and loving the fact that they're not only trendy, but warm and comfy. i like to think of it as that magical intersection where form meets function. and unicorns fly over rainbows.
but it's a fine line between trend-setter and transient my friends so i'm watching how crazy i get with the winter bulk. bo-ho is cute, homeless is not. unless it gets you laundry money--then it's pretty sweet.
